The Lee Elementary School Foundation operates entirely on contributions from the Lee Elementary School community. Many of these contributions come from businesses and charitable foundations in the Tulsa area. In addition, dozens of Lee Elementary School families have assisted the foundation through personal donations of time and money. Some of these gifts are specific to our projects, such as the Paint Your Locker project and the Outdoor Learning Center and Community Pavilion. In addition to these projects, the Lee Foundation maintains reserves for future projects and to pay the minimal administrative costs associated with our operations. Our administrative costs are negligible and consist of only those expenses that are required for our existence as a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity.
